This policy applies to employers who advertise jobs on Bildfie and to people who apply. It is part of our Terms of Service.
1.Job adverts
In shortAdvertise real, lawful jobs with honest pay and conditions.
- Every advert must be for a real vacancy you are recruiting for, with the employer you are allowed to represent.
- Describe the role, place, type of work, pay or pay range where you can, and what the applicant must have.
- Adverts from new or unverified employers may be checked by staff before they go live.
- An employer that wants to stay private is not named on the advert until someone applies.
- No contact details in adverts. Applicants apply on Bildfie.
2.Fair hiring
In shortHire on merit and follow employment law. Never charge applicants.
- Do not discriminate on grounds the law protects, such as race, tribe, ethnicity, religion, sex, pregnancy, marital status, disability or age, except where the law allows a genuine requirement.
- Never ask applicants to pay a fee, buy training or equipment, or send money to get a job or interview.
- Pay and conditions must meet the law where the job is, including minimum wage.
- No adverts for work that is illegal, sexual, or that recruits for work abroad without the licences the law requires.
3.Applying
In shortApply honestly with your own CV and details.
- Your application, CV, answers and documents must be true and your own.
- Employers see your CV as text with contact details removed, and you by first name until a later stage.
- You can withdraw an application, and apply again while the advert is open.
4.Screening, interviews and offers
In shortEmployers move applicants through stages on Bildfie: screening, interview, offer and hire.
- Employers may set must-have requirements and screening questions, and move applications through stages.
- Interviews and offers are arranged on Bildfie. An offer is not a contract until both sides agree it.
- When a position is filled, other applicants are told and the advert shows "Position filled" for a short time before it is removed.
5.Applicant information
In shortEmployers may use applicant information only for that vacancy.
Employers may use applicants' information only to consider them for the vacancy they applied for, must keep it confidential, and must not copy it out of Bildfie. Applicants' rights over their information are explained in our Privacy Policy.
