On this page
Bildfie is built for adults. Children and young people under 18 may use only the learning parts of Bildfie, and only through a parent or guardian. This page explains how that works and the protections that apply.
1.Who may use Bildfie
- You must be 18 or older to open your own account and to hire, work, sell, buy, rent, join groups or use the wallet.
- A learner under 18 may use Learn only through a parent or guardian who links their own account to the child and gives consent.
- If we learn that a child is using Bildfie outside these rules, we close or limit the account.
2.The parent or guardian's role
- The parent or guardian confirms they have the right to act for the child and gives consent for the child to learn on Bildfie.
- They choose and pay for courses (or a linked sponsor pays), see progress and results, and can stop the child's access at any time.
- For home-schooled children, the parent keeps the home-school record.
3.Protections for children
- Children are shown by first name only, and their information is never used for advertising or marketing.
- A child's account is for learning only. It must not be used to hold money, hire, sell or join groups; payments are made by the parent, guardian or sponsor.
- Contact between a teacher and a child happens only inside the course and its sessions on Bildfie, where contact details are blocked and nothing is recorded or shared outside.
- Teachers must keep every contact with a child professional and about the course.
4.Zero tolerance
We have zero tolerance for content or behaviour that sexualises, grooms, exploits or endangers a child. We remove it, close the accounts involved and report it to the authorities. If you see anything like this, report it immediately on Bildfie and to the police.
5.Questions and concerns
To see, correct or delete your child's information, or to raise a concern, contact support@bildfie.com. See also our Privacy Policy and Learn Terms.
