These terms apply to Learn on Bildfie: teaching and selling courses, taking courses, sessions with a teacher, quizzes and exams, and certificates of completion. They also apply to parents, guardians and sponsors who enrol or pay for learners. They are part of our Terms of Service. Learn may not yet be open in every area.

1.Teaching on Bildfie

In shortTeach only what you know, using your own material. Courses are reviewed before they are published.
  • To teach, you accept the teacher terms shown when you start, and keep your teacher profile true.
  • Your course must be your own work, or material you have the right to use. Do not copy books, videos or courses (Intellectual Property Policy).
  • Courses are checked by staff before they are published. We may ask for changes or decline a course.
  • Teach accurately and safely. Do not give advice that needs a licence you do not hold (for example medical or legal advice).
  • You set the price. The commission for courses applies: a smaller cut when the learner came through your own link or coupon.
  • Course earnings are held until the refund window has passed, then paid to your wallet.

2.Taking a course

In shortEnrol, learn at your own pace, and finish to get a certificate of completion.
  • When you enrol, you get access to the course for as long as it is available on Bildfie, for your own personal learning.
  • Do not share your access or copy, record or publish course content.
  • Your progress, study time and results are recorded so you can continue where you stopped.

3.Parents, guardians and sponsors

In shortChildren learn through a linked parent or guardian. A sponsor can pay for a learner they are linked to.
  • A learner under 18 uses Learn only through a parent or guardian who has linked their account and given consent. The parent or guardian can see the child's progress and manage their learning (Children & Young People).
  • A sponsor linked to a learner may pay for courses and sessions for them, and sees what they paid for.
  • For home-schooled children, study time can count in the home-school record kept by the parent.

4.Sessions with a teacher

In shortBook video or voice sessions inside Bildfie. The price is held and paid to the teacher only if they joined.
  • Teachers may offer paid one-to-one sessions. Learners, or their guardian or sponsor, book a time from the teacher's slots.
  • Sessions take place in the call room inside Bildfie. Recording and sharing outside contact details are not allowed.
  • The price is held in escrow and paid to the teacher 24 hours after the session if the teacher joined; if the teacher did not join, it is refunded. Cancellation rules are shown when you book.
  • Sessions with a learner under 18 follow the safeguards in Children & Young People.

5.Quizzes and exams

In shortDo your own work. Rules for each quiz are shown before you start.
  • Each quiz and final exam shows its rules first: pass mark, time limit, number of attempts and waiting time between attempts.
  • Answers must be your own. Cheating, sharing answers or sitting an exam for someone else may lead to a failed result, a withdrawn certificate and action on the account.
  • Some answers are marked by the teacher. Right answers are shown once you pass or run out of attempts.

6.Certificates of completion

In shortA certificate shows you completed a course on Bildfie. It is not a qualification, licence or accreditation.
  • When you complete every lesson and pass every quiz and the final exam, you receive a certificate of completion, issued once and sealed.
  • It carries your full legal name, the course, the date, a certificate number and the signatures of the teacher and Bildfie's Director.
  • Anyone can check a certificate by its number on the public check page, which shows the name printed on it.
  • A certificate of completion is not an academic qualification, a professional licence or an accreditation, and must not be presented as one.
  • We may withdraw a certificate obtained by cheating or by mistake, and the check page will show it as withdrawn.

7.Refunds

In shortRefund within 7 days if less than 33% of the course has been used.

You can ask for your money back within 7 days of buying a course, as long as less than 33% of the course has been used. Your access ends when the refund is made. Session refunds follow the rules above. See also the Disputes & Refunds Policy.
